This morning we packed up and checked out of the Pine Bungalows.

Before leaving town, we went to the Jasper Skytram. As we planned the trip, we weren’t positive we would visit this attraction, but since the day dawned bright and clear, it seemed like a good choice.

We rode the tram up to the top of Whistler’s Peak. There was still a lot of snow at the top. The boys hiked up to the summit, while Mallory and I stayed back on account of the poor footing. We could see mountains for miles all around us; the clarity was perfect.

We rode back down the mountain, picked up some sandwiches at the Bear Paw Bakery, and left town. We stopped for a picnic at Mount Robson – an incredibly beautiful location.

We made one more stop on our drive, at Rearguard Falls, to watch the salmon jumping up the falls as they swam upstream.
We drove on to Kamloops, our destination for the night. We checked into a nondescript hotel that had a water slide that kept us entertained, and ate dinner at the Chinese joint next door.
